The team at this cozy hotel went above and beyond from the moment we arrived. Great driver, fantastic city views from the rooftop, and filling breakfast options. Polite manager, clean and comfortable room with a spacious balcony. Perfectly located in a quiet area, but still close to everything we needed in Thamel.

My recent stay at Himalayan Ghar was nothing short of amazing. The hotel itself was beautiful, with spacious and well-lit rooms. The rooftop terrace provided a perfect spot for breakfast and a relaxing evening. But what truly stood out was the exceptional service provided by the hotel manager, Bijay. He went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and memorable. I cannot thank him enough for his hospitality. Despite a few minor hiccups like intermittent WiFi and kitchen supplies, the overall experience at Himalayan Ghar exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kathmandu.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The staff went out of their way to help us with everything, including organising PCR tests for our departure and an early breakfast before our flight. The hotel is very clean, with big suites, comfortable beds and great air conditioning. The location is perfect - central and away from the noise of the main street. Breakfast on the rooftop terrace with amazing views was a highlight.
Could not be improved in any way.

The complementary breakfast was excellent with a great variety of options. the hotel was located in a very convenient location close to many attractions and restaurants. the room was very clean and comfortable. the rooftop restaurant offered a scenic view and was a nice spot to relax.
Although the hotel was located in a central area, it was quite noisy during the night with loud music and car horns. the wifi connection in the room was not strong and often lost connection.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel in Kathmandu. The staff were incredibly helpful and provided great service. They even went above and beyond by accommodating my special request for a chair in my room, showing their attention to detail. The location was perfect, tucked away on a quiet street but still within walking distance to the vibrant Thamel area. The room was comfortable and well-equipped, with nice furniture and even a small balcony. The breakfast served on the rooftop was absolutely delicious, offering a wide variety of options to choose from. All in all, I had a wonderful experience at this hotel.

I recently had an incredible stay at a hotel in Kathmandu that I can only describe as the best. the location was superb - situated on a quiet street just a short walk from the main tourist area, it struck the perfect balance between convenience and tranquility. Secondly, the attention to detail in this hotel was commendable. From the clean and spacious rooms, complete with nice furniture and basic amenities you'd find in a 5-star hotel, to the small balconies that offered a glimpse of the city, everything was thoughtfully designed. Lastly, I have to mention the breakfast. It was simply amazing, with a variety of freshly made dishes that left me feeling satisfied and energized for the day ahead. Without a doubt, I highly recommend this hotel.
Nothing was missing. It was a flawless stay.

Romantic getaway: Great for couples! Exceptional service from friendly staff. Delicious food with options to choose from, especially the homemade breakfast. The room was comfortable, luxurious, and so clean - it felt like home. We enjoyed the peace and quiet of the location while being walking distance from popular attractions.
Limited view: Our room had no view, but it did not matter because we spent most of our time on the rooftop terrace with a view. The shuttle service offered from the airport was uncomfortable with poor vehicle quality.

Great location in the heart of the city, close to major attractions and amenities. Friendly and helpful staff, always willing to assist with any requests or queries.- Delicious and fresh breakfast options served on a rooftop with a beautiful view.
Lack of clear information about the closing time of the gates, causing inconvenience when returning to the hotel late at night. Noisy surroundings due to the busy neighborhood, which may affect light sleepers.
